We make jeans. That’s it. Nothing else. No distractions. Nothing to steal our focus. No kidding ourselves that we can be good at everything. No trying to conquer the whole world. We just do our best to conquer our bit of it.

The beginning

In 2010 founders David and Hannah Jackman open the first store in San Francisco. Within 2 years sales reach $2 million. Our second store opens. Beard Inc. goes public.

2012

The first Beard Denim store in Canada opens in Vancouver, British Columbia, and becomes the second largest denim brand in Canada. Beard Denim outlet stores launch.

2013

Beard Denim launces online, and opens 12 more stores in Canada. The first stores in Japan open in Tokyo and Yokohama. Beard Denim opens first frnachise stores, in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Beard Inc. acquaires a Fitnica, a women's activewear company. Beard Denim celebrates 3 years in business.

2018

Already in nearly two dozen countries, international expansion continues to Italy, China, Australia and beyond.
